The German Volleyball Federation (DVV) has confirmed that Polish expert Michal Winiarski will remain head coach of the men’s national volleyball team until 2028, setting their sights on the Los Angeles Olympics.

After the team’s first Olympic qualification since 2012 and their strong performance in Paris, Winiarski, who took over in 2022, has agreed to continue leading the squad on their journey toward LA. Alongside coaching the national team, the 41-year-old also manages Polish club Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. His next challenge will be preparing the team for the 2025 World Championship in the Philippines.

Winiarski expressed enthusiasm, stating, “We’ve made significant progress in the past three years, and I’m excited to keep building and integrating new players.”
