Schwerin engaged a 23-year-old Serbian receiver Jelena Oluić. She arrived from the team in her home country Jedinstvo Stara Pazova, with whom she won the national Super Cup last season.

Besides Oluić, Schwerin tied a 26-year-old Croatian middle blocker Beta Dumančić who came from the Polish top division side Enea PTPS Piła. Interestingly, she has spent a part of her career competing in the U.S. collegiate tournament, the NCAA, while obtaining a three-year scholarship at the Clemson University, South Carolina where she earned a business administration degree.
