Rafail Koumentakis led Olympiacos as their top scorer with 16 points, while Aleksandar Atanasijevic contributed 14. On the opposing side, Nicolás Bruno was the standout for Guaguas Las Palmas, also scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, in another qualifier, Austria’s Hypo Tirol Innsbruck defeated HAOK Mladost of Croatia 3-1 in Zagreb (23-25, 25-20, 18-25, 17-25), confirming their progression to the next round.
