Lukas Kampa has officially ended his time with the German national volleyball team. The country’s volleyball federation honored the legendary setter with an emotional post on social networks. Kampa’s last match for the national team was during the quarterfinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Federation praised Kampa’s 15-year national team career, highlighting his 242 caps, two Olympic quarterfinals, 2017 European Championship silver, and 2014 World Championship bronze. They thanked him for his contributions and expressed hope he will stay involved in German volleyball.
