Savino Del Bene Volley signed German middle blocker Camilla Weitzel ahead of the 2025–2026 season. The 24-year-old arrives after an impressive year in Serie A1 played for Megabox Volley Vallefoglia, where she recorded 336 points, 76 blocks, and 39 aces across league and cup matches.
At 195 cm tall, Weitzel brings experience and strength to the squad led by Coach Marco Gaspari. Her volleyball journey began in Germany with Dresdner SC, where she earned national titles and made her debut with the senior national team in 2019. She later gained international experience in Italy with Chieri and Vallefoglia.
“This is one of the top clubs in Italy,” said Weitzel. “I’m excited to get started and contribute to the team’s goals.”
