Leonarda Grabić led HAOK Mladost to a victory in their final qualification match for the CEV Champions League 4th Round (Pool stage). With a 3-1 win, Mladost secured their place in Europe’s most prestigious volleyball competition for the first time in 18 years. The victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Gacko (25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17) means volleyball fans in Zagreb and across Croatia can once again witness live CEV Champions League matches.
Croatina powerhouse will now face some of the strongest clubs in Europe. Mladost will compete in Pool A of the Champions League alongside Italy’s Conegliano, Bulgaria’s Maritza Plovdiv, and Poland’s Rzeszów.
Leonarda Grabić was the standout performer with 25 points, including 3 blocks, while Tonka Bošnjak contributed 11 points and Aurora Papac added 8 with 3 blocks.
