PAOK wrote history on Wednesday night, beating AO Thiras 0-3 (16-25, 23-25, 23-25) to sweep the semifinal series 2-0 and reach the Greek Women’s Volley League final for the first time ever.

Despite trailing 22-16 in the third set, PAOK pulled off an comeback with a 7-0 run, powered by Hester Jasper and Marta Drpa, to seal the win and punch their ticket to the big stage.

Olympiacos Cruises Past Panathinaikos to Reach 15th Final

Earlier, Olympiacos made light work of rivals Panathinaikos, winning 0-3 (18-25, 17-25, 20-25) and clinching a 2-0 series victory. With strong showings from Milica Kubura and Yasmine Abderrahim, the Reds ended Panathinaikos’ three-year reign and secured their 15th straight final appearance.
