Despite a shaky start at the Mikra Indoor Hall, the Athens side recovered with composure and quality, confirming their status as the league’s pace-setters. The victory lifted Panathinaikos to 47 points, keeping them five points clear of Olympiacos, while PAOK missed a chance to strengthen their push for fourth place.

PAOK made an impressive opening and took the first set 25–23, putting heavy pressure on reception and briefly raising hopes of handing Panathinaikos their first defeat of the season. However, the visitors responded strongly from the second set onwards, turning the match around with disciplined blocking, improved defence, and clinical attacking.

Hayley Bennett led the way for Panathinaikos with 22 points, while Martina Samadan once again proved decisive, adding 13 points at key moments. Strong contributions also came from Micaya White (16) and Monika Lampkowska (11). For the hosts, Tara Taubner stood out with an impressive 24-point performance, supported by T’ara Ceasar (14) and Élena Báka (12).

From the second set on, Panathinaikos gradually took control of the match, winning the next three sets with authority and closing the contest after 104 minutes of play.
