Argentina national team member Solé will wear the Verona jersey for another year.
A 28-year-old middle blocker, one-time Italian Championship and Super Cup winner with Itas Trentino, and one-time South American Club Championship winner with Bolívar Vóley, established himself the Best Blocker in SuperLega last season with 73 kill blocks in total (0.72 average per set). With Argentina national team, Solé participated in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and won two gold medals in the Pan-American Games, collecting individual awards for the Best Blocker in the South American Championship once, and Best Middle Blocker in the CEV Champions League, FIVB World Cup and South American Championship once each.
Earlier, Verona hired American setter Jennings Franciskovic (Azimut Leo Shoes Modena), Bulgarian outside hitter Aparuh Asparuhov (Montana, Bulgaria), and libero Federico Bonami (Globo Banca Popolare del Frusinate Sora).
