In the season 2019/2020, Kaja Grobelna was in the sixth place on the top scorers’ list with 298 points in total. She was the most powerful player in Chieri.
That’s why this team wanted to keep her for another season.
“I had a few other options but I had no doubts in choosing to stay in Chieri,” says Kaja Grobelna and adds “This year I had a great time, personally, in the team, in the city. I recognize myself in this ambitious club that works hard and is growing. I really want to continue growing with them. We have already made a good road, but I feel that this road is not over for them and for me. I know that together we can do other beautiful things. While choosing a club I also choose from the heart, and I am absolutely convinced that this is the right choice. A few weeks ago, it was sad to leave without being able to say goodbye to the volunteers and the fans, which is also why I am very happy to stay. It will take a little patience, but finding ourselves will be even more beautiful.”
