ITA W: Official list of clubs participating in 2020/21 Serie A announced

The Italian women’s volleyball league published the official list of clubs that will participate in the competition next season.

The list of participants of the 2020/21 Italian women’s Championship (Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile) is now official. So it’s the calendar, which you can see on the website of the competition.

There will be 13 clubs competing in one of the strongest national leagues in the world next season, which will start on September 20 and will be over on April 24 and 25. The first 12 teams at the end of the regular season (13th team will be relegated) held in the round-robin format will qualify for the playoffs: the first 4 will go directly to the quarterfinals, while the teams ranked from the 5th to the 12th place will play the preliminary round (home and away matches). The four winners will reach the quarterfinals.

The list of the 2020/21 Serie A participants: Imoco Volley Conegliano, VBC Èpiù Casalmaggiore, Saugella Monza, Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio, Zanetti Bergamo, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, Il Bisonte Firenze, Bosca S.Bernardo Cuneo, Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia, Reale Mutua Fenera Chieri, Delta Despar Trentino, Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia, and Igor Gorgonzola Novara.
