Leo Shoes Modena defeated Consar Ravenna at the start of the playoffs of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship.

This season’s playoffs of by all parameters the strongest men’s volleyball national championship in the world – Italian SuperLega – set off.

In Game 1 of the Preliminary Round (1/8 finals), Modena (no.7) beat Ravenna (no.10) by a 3-0 (31-29, 25-21, 25-21). Thus, they need one more win to progress to the quarterfinals. The opening set of a duel lasted for as many as 40 minutes. Modena was led by Luca Vettori (16 points) and American Micah Christenson (4 aces).
