Trentino-vs-Lube
The 2nd-seed Lube showed an impressive reaction to a home defeat suffered by no.3 Trentino in Game 1 of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca playoff semifinals. The team commanded by Gianlorenzo Blengini won by a 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-17) on the road, tying the series at 1-1.
Pushed by an immense service display of Cuban Robertlandy Simón (8 aces!), who closed the match with game-high 16 points, Lube brought the series back home. Dutchman Nimir Abdel-Aziz scored 14 points for Trentino, of which 7 came from the service line.
