A big thank you goes to the Municipality of Perugia who has worked in the person of the Councillor for Sports Ilio Liberati to make the event possible in an indoor plant due to challenging weather conditions that would not allow an adequate realization in initial location – the Stadium S. Giuliana.
We want to emphasize that the help of many young volunteers has enabled the smooth running of the Super Mini Volleyball Games.
Attended the event as guests, Simone Santi and PERUGIA’s player Goran Vujevic. The presence of the Red Cross has given even more prominence to the success of the event.
Donations collected by the many volunteers from the Giacomo Sintini Association amounted to a total of EUR 3058,3 and will be entirely devoted to the works of the Department of Hematology Oncology Hospital Santa Maria della Misericordia, Perugia.
With the beautiful day yesterday and with the immense enthusiasm of which only children are capable of we wanted to send a message to that formidable opponent called Cancer:
“We are many, we are united and we are ready to fight!“
