Serbian duo Atanasijevic – Petric destroyed Verona with 49 points combined and took a third win for their squad. Entire game was like a seesaw. Verona started great with the starting lead after first period. But, men of Slobodan Kovac responded very well and quickly equalised and then turned result around as the ”Devils” took the lead 1-2. Still Verona found strength to respond strong and get the chance to fight for the win in the fifth set.
But there was no solution for Perugia’s spikers. Mitic found Atanasijevic and Petric again and again, until the result on the scoreboard said 10-15 and third Perugia’s win in Serie A was in the books!
