ACQUA PARADISO MONZA BRIANZA – TONNO CALLIPO VIBO VALENTIA 3-1 (23-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-22)

ACQUA PARADISO MONZA BRIANZA: Rossini (L), Zhukouski 4, Conte 7, Nikic 18, Forni 3, Buti 7, Rooney 12, De Cecco, Gavotto 11, Shumov 1. DNP Ciabattini, Molteni, Roumeliotis. Coach. Zanini.

TONNO CALLIPO VIBO VALENTIA: Falasca 20, Coscione 4, Serafini, Cernic 9, Diaz 17, Grassano, Banderò 1, Rak 14, Barone 2, Fanuli (L), Nikolov 5. DNP Mignolo. Coach. Blengini.

Luis Augusto Diaz (Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia): “We really wanted to force a fifth set and take at least a point. We haven’t played a great game, we struggled in reception, and they served well. Congratulations to them, even if that does not change anything for the playoffs match-ups. Now we have to focus on the last phase. Who would I prefer between Cuneo and Macerata? Both very strong teams. We beat twice Macerata in regular season but we know that the playoffs are a different story, we’ll just have to play hard anyway”.

Tsimafei Zhukouski (Acqua Paradiso Monza Brianza): “I am glad the coach gave me court time today. It was a good game, I am happy for me and the team, and I want to thank the fans that came to see the team once again today”.
