The young Latvian opposite hitter Kristers Dardzāns completed the roster of the current Italian men’s volleyball Super Cup winners Sir Safety Conad Perugia for 2021/22.
Latvian teenager Dardzāns completed the roster available to Nikola Grbić for the next season. He is an interesting prospect and already a member of his country’s senior national team. Dardzāns, an opposite hitter (not yet 20 years old) has grown a lot in the last season, his first in the professional career. He is an emerging youngster from Baltic volleyball who will undoubtedly make his way to Latvia’s squad for the upcoming European Championship.
Dardzāns came from the titleholders of his homeland, Jēkabpils Lūši.
