One of the best male volleyball middle blockers in the world, Robertlandy Simón, revealed where he’ll play next season.
For volleyball clubs, it’s normal that no official confirmations of signings arrive in this part of the season. But, here’s the situation that the player himself announced it: Cuban star Simón will wear the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza jersey in 2022/23.
In a video interview with Cuban journalist Henry Morales, the experienced middle blocker confirmed leaving Cucine Lube Civitanova at the end of the current season. Simón will return to the club in which he had his first experience in the international scene, between 2012 and 2014, and with whom he won the CEV Challenge Cup and Italian Cup.
“Next season, I’ll be in Piacenza. The rumors are true, I don’t deny it,” the Cuban player announced.
