The returnee to the Serbia Women’s Volleyball National Team with whom she became the European champion in 2017 and world champion a year later, Jovana Stevanović, will be a Monza player for the 2022/23 season.
The Best Middle Blocker of the 2016 CEV Champions League, Stevanović, will wear the jersey of the current Serie A vice-champions Monza in 2022/23.
Strong on the net, finishing as the second-best in blocking (74 points) of the Italian Championship in the last regular season with Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio and twice winning the general classification in this segment in the competition (2014 and 2016), the new Monza member is now engaged with the Serbia National Team in the FIVB VNL, returning to the roster after a few years of absence (and silent confrontation with the ex-head coach Zoran Terzić).
Monza will be the 4th club of a 29-year-old Stevanović in Italy. With one of them, VBC Trasporti Pesanti Casalmaggiore, she had the most successes, winning the Italian Championship and Cup in 2015, and CEV Champions League in 2016.
