In front of a sold-out crowd of 4,000 at the Kioene Arena, Padova came agonizingly close to securing playing 5th set, but Trento emerged victorious in four sets thanks to an outstanding performance by Kaziyski, who notched up 25 points, 1 block, and an impressive 61% in attack. Despite the loss, Padova put on a display of great quality and character, racking up 7 aces and 10 blocks, with Dusan Petkovic leading the team in scoring with 23 points and 2 blocks, 50% attack success rate.

Sir Safety Susa Perugia defeated Taranto, winning the match in three sets (22-25, 19-25, 19-25). Top scorers for Taranto was Lawani with 14 points, and Antonov added 12. The match top scorer was Jaime Herrera with 16 points but the key factor that set Perugia apart was their strong serve display, which included 9 aces. This allowed Perugia to dictate the pace of the game and secure several crucial break points.

The match in Modena was an emotional rollercoaster, with Vero Volley Monza initially taking a 2-0 lead, Modena recover and level the score at 2-2. Modena then took the lead and had four match balls, but Monza managed to turn the game around and ultimately triumphed 3-2. Monza’s Georg Grozer scored 24 points and MVP Stephen Maar added another 27, while Modena, playing without Earwin Ngapeth, saw standout performances from Adis Lagumdzija with 33 points and Tomasso Rinaldi with 15.

Verona convincingly won 3-0 and pushed Siena to the bottom of the overall standings with little chance of staying in the elite competition next season. Maksim Sapozhkov was the most effective player for Verona with 20 points while Rok Mozic added 15. Nemanja Petric was the top scorer for the defeated team with 12 points.
