The Italian Men’s National Volleyball Team is well into their second day of intensive training in Cavalese, Trentino, as they prepare for the upcoming season’s initial challenges. Coach Ferdinando De Giorgi announced a second round of player call-ups for a training camp that will conclude on Tuesday, May 14th.
Fourteen additional athletes will join the 16 previously summoned by Coach De Giorgi. The newcomers are set to arrive at the camp starting from Thursday, May 9th. They include Edoardo Caneschi from Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza; Marco Vitelli and Damiano Catania of Allianz Milano; Marco Falaschi from Pallavolo Padova; Lorenzo Sala of Gioiella Prisma Taranto; Gabriele Di Martino from Mint Vero Volley Monza; and a group from Itas Trentino—Riccardo Sbertoli, Daniele Lavia, Alessandro Michieletto, Giulio Magalini, and Gabriele Laurenzano—along with Lorenzo Cortesia, Leandro Mosca, and Francesco Sani from Rana Verona, arriving in Val di Fiemme on May 10th.
