Cucine Lube Civitanova continued its strong pre-season run with another commanding performance, defeating Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina in straight sets (25-23, 25-22, 25-22) during a training derby at the Eurosuole Forum. The match, played in front of over 300 spectators, showcased Lube’s efficiency and readiness for the upcoming Jesi Volley Cup.
Civitanova controlled the game in all aspects, excelling in blocking (7-4) and serving (7-5), while maintaining higher precision in attacks with a 53% success rate compared to Grottazzolina’s 51%. Despite the loss, Grottazzolina’s Petkovic and Fedrizzi emerged as top scorers with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Lube’s Lagumdzija led his team with 11 points, followed by Bottolo and Gargiulo, both contributing 10 points each.
