In just over an hour, Vero Volley Milano secured a 3-0 win against SMI Roma Volley in the second round of Serie A1 Tigotà. Despite the absence of Paola Egonu, the team led by coach Lavarini maintained full control of the match, held at a sold-out Allianz Cloud arena. The home team showed no mercy, winning with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 25-15.
Captain Alessia Orro orchestrated the play brilliantly, aided by an impressive 68% reception rate, distributing the ball with ease to the MVP of the match, Danesi, who scored 14 points. Daalderop and Cazaute also contributed significantly with 13 and 10 points, respectively.
