The SuperLega Credem Banca heads into its fourth round with Piacenza and Trento tied at the top, both securing 9 points each. Trento’s recent 3-1 win over Allianz Milano solidified their position, while Piacenza’s victory over Cisterna by the same margin keeps them on par.

Saturday, October 19, will see Piacenza take on Taranto, with Taranto aiming to recover after a home loss to Padova.

On Sunday, October 20, Verona faces Civitanova, with Verona’s Noumory Keita coming off a 22-point performance in their previous win. Later, Trento will play Modena, where Alessandro Michieletto and Daniele Lavia are expected to shine.

Rounding out the weekend, Perugia will host Cisterna, and the Lombardy derby between Monza and Milano promises a fierce contest, closing the fourth round on Sunday evening. This highly anticipated match will also mark Ivan Zaytsev’s debut in a Vero Volley jersey. After losses to Piacenza and Civitanova, Beretta and his team are eager to end their losing streak, while Milano, following a defeat to Trento, is also seeking three points to climb the standings.

This will be the 26th encounter between the two teams, with Milano winning 14 times and Monza 11. Notably, former players from both sides will face their old teams, including Averill and Mosca for Milano, and Louati for Monza.
