The first half of the Italian SuperLega Credem Banca season wrapped up. Perugia, already crowned winter champions, edged out Piacenza in a gripping 3-2 tie-breaker in front of 4,244 fans. MVP Oleh Plotnytskyi dazzled with 16 points and 4 aces, ensuring Perugia’s top spot.

Meanwhile, Milano stunned Modena 3-1, with Ferre Reggers leading the charge. Despite Modena’s late resurgence, Milano’s sharp serving and defense sealed the victory. Modena now faces top-seeded Perugia in the upcoming Coppa Italia quarterfinals.

Cisterna Volley celebrated its first-ever Coppa Italia qualification by defeating Monza 3-1. Theo Faure, MVP, scored 20 points, fueling a euphoric crowd of 1,626 as Cisterna closed the first leg in style.

Other results included Verona sweeping Taranto 3-0 and Trentino’s solid win over Padova earlier in the week.
