The penultimate round of Serie A1 Tigotà delivered high-stakes volleyball action. At Florence’s Palazzo Wanny, Savino Del Bene Scandicci emerged victorious over Numia Vero Volley Milano in a dramatic tie-break (20-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12), securing second place in the standings.
Milano started strong, clinching the first set behind stellar plays from Egonu and Daalderop. However, Scandicci rallied back, with MVP Maja Ognjenovic orchestrating flawless attacks and Antropova delivering an outstanding 34-point performance, including 5 aces and 3 blocks.
Despite Milano’s resilience, marked by Egonu’s 21 points and Sylla’s 17, Scandicci dominated the decisive moments.
