Cucine Lube Volley Civitanova confirmed the departure of general manager Giuseppe Cormio, ending a decade-long partnership that coincided with one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
Sources indicate that Marko Podraščanin is expected to retire from professional volleyball and take on a general manager role within the club. The Serbian middle blocker, widely regarded as one of the most accomplished players, enjoyed two spells with Lube, representing the club from 2008 to 2016 before returning in 2024.
Although an official announcement has yet to be made, Podraščanin is reportedly the leading candidate to succeed Cormio and begin a new chapter with the club off the court.
