Lube will play its eight Supercup final (third in a row) and so far famous club has lifted the trophy three times (2006, 2008, 2012). On the other side, Piacenza has been the winner only once (2010).

“Winning the Supercup trophy would be the best way to start the new season. We will face Piacenza, which remained a very strong team despite numerous roster changes during the summer. They have purchased some major players, and they are led by the amazing Valerio Vermiglio. We need to play very good volleyball to win against such a quality opponent” said Alberto Giuliani, coach of Cucine Lube Banca Marche Treia.

“After eight weeks of waiting we finally enter the Supercup final. Also, we will finally see how this new Piacenza will look like on the court, so my excitement is double. All players showed a big determination over the previous period and I am sure that they will play a great final. Victory is our only goal” stated Andrea Radici, coach of Copra Piacenza.

Who will win the first trophy in the new season? We will find out tomorrow evening.
