Foppapedretti
The premiere match of the 18th round of Serie A1 finished with a stunning victory of Foppapedretti in the tie-break after comeback (Foppapedretti trailed 2-1 in sets) and more than two hours of unbelievable fight – 3-2 (28-26, 22-25, 22-25, 25-16, 15-13).
It gave the home team two valuable points in its struggle to achieve the best possible ranking before playoff in which they might play against the same opponent.
The heroes of Foppapedretti’s triumph were Celeste Plak with 28 and Paola Paggi with 14 points.
Modena made one step backwards in its attempt to claim the first position in the standings.
