Osmany Juantorena was brilliant in Lube with 28 points, followed by Serbiam middle blocker Marko Podraščanin (17pts., 4 blocks). On the other side, German Simon Hirsch stood out with 17 while four other players had 10 points each. Bulgarian Viktor Yosifov collected 7 blocks!
DHL Modena, Italian silver medalists and Supercup winners, had a comfortable job at home court against Revivre Milano with 18 points from Luca Vettori. French star Earvin Ngapeth was not in the protocol for this match. The reasons for that are yet unknown.
