Halkbank
Halkbank was on the verge to suffer defeat in Ankara derby from very ambitious team of Maliye Milli Piyango as they trailed in sets, twice 3-2 (15-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 15-13).
Halkbank began a decisive set with effective serves, which led them to comfortable lead at change of sides 8-5.
Halkbank established good blocking in the continuation of the tie-break and took two points in this match with the final 15-13 and 3-2 in sets.
Spectators didn’t bother to arrive to „Başkent Volleyball Hall“ in a large number (500).
So, they missed great attacking performance from the Pole Michał Kubiak (18 points) and Frenchman Kévin Le Roux (17 pts., 3 blocks) in Halkbank and from Serhat Coşkun (21) in Milli Piyango.
