POL W: Brakočević or Lippmann? Developres to hire big name to play as opposite

According to nowiny24.pl, the Liga Siatkówki Kobiet silver medalists DevelopRes are interested in hiring a big name to play as an opposite hitter next season. This portal revealed that two players are in consideration of the Rzeszów club for the reinforcement for this position.

One of them is the ex-Serbia National Team member Jovana Brakočević Canzian, the 2011 CEV EuroVolley winner. In case she signs for DevelopRes, the 32-year-old player would have returned to the Polish league after only a year. Last season, Brakočević Canzian defended the colors of Italy’s Igor Gorgonzola Novara.

The other player is the German star Louisa Lippmann who last season played in China’s Shanghai and ended it in the home country with SSC Palmberg Schwerin.

Given that both opposite hitters from the last season, Katarzyna Zaroślińska-Król and Tamara Gałucha, are heading towards the exit door, DevelopRes will need to hire one more player for this position, apart from Brakočević or Lippmann.
