It seems that the Russian men’s volleyball side Zenit Saint Petersburg will have a dream team next season.

After securing a signature of Viktor Poletaev, Zenit are close to engaging one more country’s national team member. According to TASS, the Saint Petersburg team is negotiating with Fakel about the buyout clause for the 24-year-old Egor Kliuka.

He was involved in winning the 2018 and 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League of “Zbornaya”, being named Best Outside Spiker of the latter tournament. Kliuka was a part of Russia Men that took the gold medal in the CEV European Championship, two years ago. On a club level, he won the 2017 CEV Challenge Cup with Fakel.
