It was Perugia who prevailed at the end after a marathon race in PalaOlimpia. The Block Devils triumphed after 5 long sets and sealed their place in the semifinals.
“This series was the one that simply goes on your nerves. It lasted for a month! We came to Verona to play in front of this amazing audience and to win against a great team. We did not want to give up, despite the last 10 days were a true hell for us. Still, we returned on court and fought until the last ball. This series shows that we will have something to say in the semifinals against Lube,” said Simone Buti.
