Maar
The team which finished previous season as seventh in regukar phase and was eliminated in playoff quarterfinals by future champions DHL Modena has reached an agreement with Canadian receiver/outside hitter Stephen Maar. He is officially the first new name in Padova for 2016/2017.
The 21-year-old Maar showed his quality during 2015 Pan American Volleyball Cup when he received Best Spiker award. In addition, Maar was named OUA (Ontario University Athletics) male athlete of the year. He performed for the McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario since 2012 so, Padova will be his first experience abroad.
