The captain of Cuban Men’s Volleyball Nationa Team at recent 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro played a bit in Round 3 of Serie A1 against Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia, his full contribution in Molfetta’s play is still expected.
Jiménez was officially presented as reinforcement of Molfetta to the press and fans after two amazing seasons where he was dominating the Greek volleyball scene in the jersey of PAOK Thessaloniki.
The receiver signed with Italian club after getting permission from the Cuban Volleyball Federation, becoming the first player from his country to join some Italian volleyball team in agreement with his federation.
