While doing live interview with “Rai Sport” after her team lost Game 1 of the playoff semifinals in Italian Serie A1 against Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena, Ortolani suffered a slight fainting. Later, Imoco reassured it was nothing serious with their captain. She had a mere hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) due to fatigue.
Recall that game against Modena was fifth for Imoco in the last 10 days, including Serie A1 and CEV Champions League.
