A 12-time Italian Men’s volleyball champions Azimut Modena parted ways with talented receiver.

After spending last two seasons with Azimut Modena senior roster and three more in youth team before that, a 20-year-old Samuel Onwuelo will change the club for 2017/18.

A talented receiver will wear the jersey of Division 2 side Conad Reggio Emilia and will try to improve statistics from last season in which he made 0.4 points per game.

In his new club, Onwuelo will have a good teacher as a Dutch volleyball legend Henk-Jan Held, who won gold medal in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta as a player, took over Reggio Emilia, two months ago.
