The top-seed Sir Safety Conad Perugia smashed No.4 Diatec Trentino in straight sets in Game 5 of the 2017/18 SuperLega playoff semifinals, partially 25-12, 25-20, 30-28, to clinch the series with a 3-2.
The complete change of power relations was seen tonight compared to the previous game, four days ago. Trentino had the only chance of extending the match in the third set but even then, they first had to reach Perugia’s 23-19 lead. Still, when they managed to tie at 23-23, their rivals quickly went up.
Ivan Zaytsev topped the winning side with 15 points (4 aces).
Thus, Perugia will play their third-ever SuperLega finals (2014, 2016, 2018). Their rival will be No.2 Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Ivan Zaytsev scored 15 points not Aaron Russell.
Re: @rivers
What a meticulous attention! You’ve saved the Earth, congratulations. LOL, XOXO, GIRL!
Re: @BRAZILvolleyTroll Thanks.
I hope Russell stays in Perugia. He is getting stronger and better every year.
They need to retain their coach too. imo
