TRANSFERS FROM ITALY W: Casalmaggiore presented three new players

Pomi Casalmaggiore officially have presented three new players for the next 2018/2019 season, and one of them is American attacker who will for the first time play in Europe.

In the next season, Pomi will be stronger for American Danielle Cuttino which we presented 23 days ago, Francesca Marcon and Silvia Lussana.

Marcon played last season in Foppa Bergamo and in Pomi will wear the jersey No. 7. 

“I am very happy to be here and I cannot wait to start this season. I am convinced that it will be a roaring season” she said.

Libero Silvia Lussana came from Sab Legnano where she played in 2017/2018.

“For me, it is an honor to be in this society where there is a great desire for a win. I am sure that each of us will make our own contribution and will try to revive this society that deserves it for its glorious past. We’ll give it all” said Silvia who will wear No. 6.

In the next season, the jersey No. 20 will belong to the 194-cm tall American opposite.

“I can not wait to start working and realize my dream of playing in Italy. I can play in all the attack roles and I want to give my contribution to Pomì together with all my teammates.”

Anthi Vasilantonaki

Lardini Filottrano have hired the Greek opposite and Italian receiver for the next season. Anthi Vasilonaki came to the club after the season in Igor Novara with whom she won Italian Supercup and silver medal in Italian Serie A1. Check her stats.

On the other side, Rossa Laura Baggi also became a new member of Filottrano. She came from the Finnish league where she played for HPK Hameelinna and won Supercup and title.
