Japanese national team standout and global volleyball star Ran Takahashi has officially renewed his contract with the Suntory Sunbirds, ensuring his place on the team through the 2025/2026 season. The 23-year-old, who returned to Japan last year after a stint in Italy, is set to continue as a key player for the club.
“I’m excited to keep fighting with this team to become even stronger, not just in Japan but worldwide. Thank you for your support,” said Takahashi.
A standout for Japan’s national team since 2021, Takahashi’s resume includes gold and silver at the Asian Championships and podium finishes in the Volleyball Nations League.
