Saga Hisamitsu Springs returned to the top of Japanese women’s volleyball after defeating in the 2025-26 Daido Life SV.League final series.

Saga secured the championship in two matches, winning their first national title since 2022 and the ninth in club history. Libero Minami Nishimura was named MVP after an outstanding season and playoff campaign.

After finishing second in the regular season with a 36-8 record, Saga advanced through the postseason and carried that momentum into the final at Yokohama Buntai.

They opened the series with a hard-fought five-set victory, with Stephanie Samedy and Sae Nakajima scoring 22 points each. Saga then completed the title run with a dominant straight-sets win the following day, as Samedy produced a match-high 23 points.

Defending champions Osaka Marvelous finished as runners-up, while NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki claimed third place.
