In the quarterfinals Puerto Rico were stronger than the USA, they defeated opponents with 3-1 (25:21, 25:22, 20:25, 25:14). On the other side, Canada beat the Dominican Republic also 3-1(25-20, 16-25, 25-21 and 25-23).
In the semifinals, Cuba will face Puerto Rico while Canada will play against Argentina.
