Game 1 of the Korea-Thailand Pro Volleyball All-Star Super Match 2019 series was held at the Terminal 21 Korat Multipurpose Hall in the city of Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand and was ended with a 3-2 (25-23, 29-27, 23-25, 23-25, 15-11) victory of the hosts.
Thailand national team head coach Danai Sriwatcharamethakul had all of his stars at the disposal for the match, including players like the newly promoted captain Nootsara Tomkom, Pleumjit Thinkaow, Onuma Sittirak, and Ajcharaporn Kongyot.
As for Korea national team, who competed under the name Korea All-Star team, their superstar Kim Yeon-Koung who came from Turkey, taking advantage of a few days of break before starting the playoff semifinal series with Eczacıbaşı VitrA, was in the roster. Lee Jae-Young, the MVP of recently finished Korean V League, also took part in the match.
Game 2 will also be held in Thailand and is scheduled for April 7 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok.
