Teruel clearly controlled the first and the third set in the 2019 Supercopa Masculina, allowing their fiercest rivals Almería to disturb their dominance only in the second set: 3-1 (25-14, 27-25, 25-18), Thus, they positioned themselves as the most successful team in the national Super Cup history with 8 trophies.

Because of his contribution to the triumph of the club from the Aragón region, the country’s national team outside hitter Víctor Rodríguez was named MVP of the match. But he was not the best scorer of the “clásico“. It was Rodríguez’s teammate, the Slovakian Filip Gavenda, who put down 17 points. Aharón Gámiz made 85% reception (13 digs, 54% excellent). The Brazilian Guilherme Hage (79% reception, 19 digs, 26% excellent) and Argentinean Pablo Kukartsev scored 11 points apiece for the silver medalists.
