Lonneke-Sloetjes
According to CCTV, the reigning Super League champions Tianjin negotiate with one of the most prominent opposite hitters in the world volleyball today, Lonneke Slöetjes! As it was known from earlier, the Dutch player parted ways with Italy’s Savino Del Bene Scandicci, which Tianjin are about to take advantage of. A two-time CEV European Championship Best Opposite Spiker will replace American Destinee Hooker.
However, unlike the last season when they had only Hooker as a foreigner in the roster, Tianjin plan to have two imports in 2020/21. The Czech outside hitter Andrea Kossanyiová (BKS Stal Bielsko-Biała, Poland) will join Slöetjes. Does the arrival of Kossanyiová mean that rumors of Zhu Ting’s departure are true, the time will show.
