JPN W: Kulan helps Toray keep perfect record, Seagulls noted 4th successive win

The Toray Arrows continued dominating the 2020/21 Japanese Women’s Volleyball Championship.

The Toray Arrows recorded the fifth win in as many games in the 2020/21 V.League Division1 regular season for women. The Azerbaijani Jana Kulan top-scored the Ōtsu based club against Hisamitsu Springs (3-1: 25-19, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22) with 27 points.

By sweeping Victorina Himeji (3-0), the Okayama Seagulls (Syuka Kaneda 15 points) prolonged their series of victories to four.

Mizuki Tanaka was the most prolific player in the third successive win of JT Marvelous over Denso Airybees. She scored 23 points in the match that had to be resolved in the tie-break. The Airybees victorious streak of three games came to an end.
