At home debut in the 2020/21 Brazilian Men’s Volleyball Championship, EMS Taubaté Funvic defeated Vedacit Vôlei Guarulhos.

Taubaté achieved the second victory in the 2020/21 Superliga Banco do Brasil regular season for men. They confirmed favoritism over Guarulhos and beat them by a 3-0 – partially 25-15, 25-14, and 25-18 in Round 2.

This was the first home game for Taubaté to which they were led in scoring by Felipe Roque (15 points) and in blocking by Maurício Souza (6 blocks). With these two victories, the team commanded by Javier Weber has six points and shares the leadership of the competition with Minas Tênis Clube and Sesi-SP, who both recorded victories worth three-points.
