The head coach of the China Women’s National Team, Lang Ping, has completed the procedure for the renewal of her contract with the national federation (CVA) and will lead the titleholders at the Tokyo Olympics next year. After the event in the Japanese capital, she’ll retire as she decided earlier.
This information was revealed to Xinhua News Agency from the CVA officials at the ceremony for the opening of the Jiangmen Sports Center, which will become one of the training bases for the country’s national team.
Lang Ping’s contract expired at the end of August, exactly at the moment when the China National Team ended training. The preparations of the China Women will be resumed in mid-January of 2021.
