HE Sheikh Saud Bin Ali Al-Thani, Vice President of Qatar Olympic Committee and Khalid Ali Al-Mawlawi, President of Qatar Volleyball Association crowned Al-Rayyan champions of the HH Emir Cup on Saturday at the Al-Arabi sports club.
It was Al Rayyan’s 11th Emir’s Cup crown and third title of the season following their victories in the Qatar League and Heir Apparent’s Cup.
They also finished as runners-up in the Asian Clubs Championship held in Iran last month.
Rayyan’s Mubarak Dahi Waleed and Michael Sanchez Bozhulev bagged the best resident and professional player honours respectively.
